It is a very important document you need to know if you are planning to study in the UK. The CAS letter is typically issued after you have accepted an offer and paid the required deposit to secure your place.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An electronic letter issued to you by the college or university that you have chosen to study in.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your CAS will be valid for student visa application for six months from the date of issue.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You must have a CAS before applying for the UK student visa.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your college\/University will send you a unique reference number matching with CAS which will be used in further process.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">They will also send along the information they have used to generate your CAS which is called a &#8216;CAS statement&#8217; and is sent to you by email.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>The CAS statement tells you the following information:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">14 digit reference number for the CAS<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sponsor License Number (SLN) of the university where you intend to study<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Start and end dates of your course<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Title of the course<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tuition fees for the first year or the entire course.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Any tuition fees that you have already paid to the university<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Any accommodation fees that you have already paid<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Assessment of your English language ability like IELTS or TOEFL scores<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Important Points to Remember:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You may obtain CAS from several different universities. But before you apply for your student visa, you must decide which university you want to study at and use the CAS from that university in your application.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After you do that, any other CAS you have been issued is not able to use for the visa application.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When your student visa has been granted and you enter the UK, you must study at the university\/college that issued your CAS.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Having a CAS does not guarantee that your visa application will be successful. You must meet all the requirements of a student visa application.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>The documents required for CAS:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sponsor university license number<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Title of your course<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Start and end date of your course<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The tuition fee of the course<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The amount you have already paid for the tuition fee and the accommodation<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Scores of IELTS or TOEFL<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Pre-CAS Interview<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After a grant has been received from the University of UK, the student is required to request a CAS to complete his\/her admission.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After sending the request, a date is given for an interview which is known as a Pre-CAS interview.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The interview is held online and will take approximately 30 minutes.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In order to have a successful admission, you must have to prepare properly for the Pre-CAS interview.
