It\u2019s designed to spread the benefits of economic immigration to smaller communities by creating a path to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers who want to work and live in one of the participating communities.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>When did the RNIP program start?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Introduced in January 2019,<\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/immigrate-canada\/rural-northern-immigration-pilot\/pr-eligibility.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canada&#8217;s Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP)<\/a><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">is a community-driven program designed with the intention of bringing skilled newcomers to the country&#8217;s rural communities.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">What is the age limit for RNIP Canada?<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Age is set at a limit of 18 years to 47 years only. With at least One-year full-time work experience.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>How long will RNIP last?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>5 years<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The RNIP Program is to operate for 5 years, and a maximum of 2,750 complete applications (from principal applicants) will be accepted into processing each year. In accordance with the requirements specified in section 14.1 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">How many points do you need for RNIP?<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The number of points that a candidate can get from having immediate family members is now capped at nine, up from eight.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Can an international student apply for RNIP?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The RNIP is currently preparing to accept applications and is a new way to immigrate for international students. The Canadian Government also welcomes skilled workers from all around the world and offers innumerable facilities and provisions in exchange for their skills and services.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>IRCC has recently launched an immigration program- Rural and Northern Immigration pilot last year for a few selected regions of Canada including West Kootenay which includes Castlegar, Trail Nelson, Rossland, and surrounding areas. Since last year at various times, all the communities are launching their details regarding how they will be implementing this program. Recently a detail has been launched by the West Kootenay community.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>For the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Program, you must meet all <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Requirements<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Get a recommendation from a designated community economic development organization.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>1 year full\/part-time equivalent experience required.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>International students living and studying in the community need no work experience.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Have a qualifying job offer (NOC A, B, C, or D are eligible).<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>English language test required (CLB is as per NOC) to meet or exceed the educational requirements.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Prove you have enough money to support your transition into the community intend to live in the community.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Job offers requirements:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>The offered job must meet all of these requirements given below:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The job must be full-time<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>This means mean you work at least 30 paid hours per week<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The job must be non-seasonal<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>In general, this means you have consistent and regularly scheduled paid <span style=\"color: #000000;\">employment throughout the year<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Your employment is permanent<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>This means that there is no set end date<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The wage must meet or exceed the Job Bank\u2019s minimum wage for your job offer\u2019s National Occupational Classification (NOC).<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Your experience must show that you can perform the duties of the job offered<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Process of Applying for Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Program:<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Check that you meet both IRCC eligibility requirements and community-specific requirements.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Find an eligible job with an employer in one of the participating communities.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Once you have a job offer, submit your application for recommendation to the<\/strong> <strong>community.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>If a community recommends you, apply for permanent residence.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Some Institutes are offering Eligible programs:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Canadore College &#8211; North Bay, Ontario<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Nipissing University &#8211; North Bay<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Cambrian College &#8211; Sudbury, Ontario<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Northern College &#8211; Timmins, Ontario<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Sault College and Algoma University &#8211; Sault Ste.
