Graduate Temporary Australia Visa Subclass 485 allow the holder the right to travel, stay, study, and work in Australia on a temporary basis.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a big change from 18th December 2020 that encourage international students to Study in regional Australia on a student visa and to continue living in regional Australia on a temporary graduate visa.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Main change in Australia Visa Subclass 485: <\/span><\/h4>\n

Student will able to submit 2nd visa 485 from Jan 2021 with\u00a01 year and 2 years duration. Conditions as below<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Conditions of visa 2nd 485 with<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n
A ><\/span> 2 years duration:<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

1. <\/span>Currently\u00a0holding visa 485 (post graduate stream) for 1st time<\/strong>
\n2. Graduated from Regional center or other regional area<\/strong>
\n3. Live, work and study<\/span> in Regional center or other regional area 2 years while holding the 1st visa 485<\/strong>
\n4. Regional center or other regional area: all area except Sydney<\/span>, Melbourne, Brisbane<\/span>, Perth, Adelaide,<\/span> Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast<\/span>, Newcastle\/Lake Macquarie<\/span>, Wollongong\/Illawarra, Canberra,<\/span> Geelong, Hobart<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

B ><\/span> 1\u00a0year duration:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

1. <\/span>Currently holding visa 485 (post graduate stream) for 1st time<\/strong>
\n2. Graduated from designated city or major regional area<\/strong>
\n3. Live, work and study<\/span> in\u00a0designated city or major regional area\u00a0while holding the 1st visa 485<\/strong><\/p>\n

*** Make technical amendments to clarify the operation of a concession inserted by the Migration Amendment (COVID-19 Concessions) Regulations 2020\u00a0<\/em>to allow applications for Subclass 485 (Temporary Graduate) visas to be made from outside Australia during the concession period associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A ><\/span> Who will the visa applied for?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

\u2022 Main applicant and Dependent who already living in Australia (Onshore)<\/strong>
\n\u2022 No requirement for English and Police check<\/strong><\/p>\n

B> <\/strong><\/span>When can I submit the 2nd visa 485?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

From\u00a020\/01\/2021and only affective when the 1st visa 485 expired<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Main applicant: $650<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Dependent over 18 years old: $325<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Dependent under 18 years old: $165<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
