English Requirements At St. Francis Xavier University :

• IELTS: 6.5 with no band below 6.0
• TOEFL:  92 iBT and no lower than 20 in each band

English for Academic Purposes program is for students who apply to a Bachelor’s degree program with an IELTS score below the college requirement. (I.E.: 6.5 IELTS with no band below 6.0)

• A student with a 6.0 overall score with no band below 5.5 will be required to complete 1 semester of EAP.
  • Students will receive acceptance into EAP with conditional acceptance into their bachelor degree program upon successful completion of EAP
• Below 6.0 with no band below 4.5 will require 2 semesters of EAP.
  • Students receive acceptance into EAP with conditional acceptance into their bachelor’s degree program upon successful completion of EAP.

• Student from CBSE/State Board required min. 45% overall and not less than 40 marks in any subject.

Scholarship

• Central Board: The student with 55% in grade 12 is eligible for a Scholarship in StFX.
• State Board: The student with 65% in grade 12 is eligible for a Scholarship in StFX.
