Just a quick update on the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). We do accept grades from here and the requirements are the same as other boards. 12th min 65% overall and maths 60% for diplomas and advanced diplomas, maths 65% for degree programs. IELTS min 6 in each band overall 6 for diplomas and advanced diplomas, 6.5 for degree and post-grad diploma programs with no band less than 6.0 DO NOT SUBMIT IELTS scores with less than 6 in any band. They will not be considered for any program including diplomas.

  • Environmental Control (PENCT) – Davis Campus PG 1 Year Postsecondary 3 year diploma or degree in science or engineering Plus. Post-secondary degree first-year Chemistry course with a minimum grade of 60% or Second-year diploma level Chemistry course with a minimum grade of 60%
  • Quality Assurance Manufacturing And Management – Davis Campus 1 Year Postsecondary 3 year diploma or degree in science or engineering Plus. Post-secondary math with a minimum grade of 60% and/or Demonstrated competence through related work and educational experience (For Mechanical Engineering) (60% or above in Math in Degree or H.S . C 12th)

 

DIPLOMA PROGRAMS :

  • Computer Programmer – PCOMP – Davis Campus & Trafalgar Road Campus Diploma 2 Year Math’s in H.S.C with 50% or above
  • Social Service Worker – PSSWK – Davis Campus & Trafalgar Road Campus Diploma 2 Year English, Grade 12

ADVANCED DIPLOMA PROGRAMS :

  • Computer Systems Technology -Systems Analyst Co-op – PCSAC – Davis Campus & Trafalgar Road Campus Advanced Diploma 3 Year Math’s in H.S.C with 50% or above

Sheridan College Application Guidelines 

  • PASS CLASS STUDENTS APPLICATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED
  • Conditional Offers will NOT be issued for September 2019 intake, except in cases of Post Graduate Certificate applicants, where the candidate is missing ONLY the Final Semester Marksheet or Degree Certificate for reasons beyond their control

Important Remarks:

GPA PRIORITY:

  • For all undergraduate (Diploma and Advance Diploma programs): priority candidates must meet the ACADEMIC BENCHMARK grade of 70% (from Punjab State board), and 65% from other boards.
  • Students with a lower Grade point average than the one mentioned above will only be considered on a case-to-case basis, provided any seats are left at end of the application processing cycle in November 2018.

Other Admission Requirement:

Student MUST have an ACTIVE E-MAIL address as college send important communication to Students email address and we cannot process the Application without students email address and Complete Mailing Address with pin code and with that Student’s phone number is Must.

Important Notes:

  • Offer letter processing time 6 TO 7 WEEKS.
  • Online Application is required and the college will send acknowledgment e-mail on student’s e-mail id with student ID.
  • Students can apply for a maximum of 3 programs with one application fee of CAD$ 100.
  • It is the student‘s responsibility to confirm the program online through the Sheridan portal, within 2 weeks of the offer received.
  • The invoice for the payment of the fee will be upload to the Sheridan portal after confirmation of the program.
  • It’s mandatory to log in with credentials received by my Sheridan.ca otherwise Username Password will expire within a week.
