Saskatchewan Polytechnic Requirements

IELTS 

  • Overall 6.5 bands, not less than 5.5 bands in each section for all Diploma and Certificate Programs.
  • For Nursing, 7.0 Bands overall not less than 6.0 (Speaking – 7.0 Bands)
  • For PG Program 6.5 Bands not less than 5.5 bands in each section

PTE Requirements

  • Saskatchewan Polytechnic now accepts the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTEA) as an option to meet our English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirement. Candidates using PTEA must score a minimum of 63 overall with minimum component scores of 50.

Duolingo English Test

  • Saskatchewan Polytechnic are currently accepting a minimum overall score of 105 on the online Duolingo English Test as the equivalent to the minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, for most programs

DIPLOMA PROGRAMS

  • Bioscience Technology – Saskatoon Diploma 2 Year (72 Weeks) Grade 12 with 65% in English, Chemistry, Biology & Math (Physics above 60% if no Math’s).
  • Business Management – Prince Albert Diploma 2 Years Grade 12 English (No Math require).
  • Business Diploma – Moose Jaw Diploma 2 Years Grade 12 English with Overall 55% (No Math’s require) – Accountancy, Financial Services, Human Resources Insurance, Marketing, Management Students accepted for the Business diploma program will receive a form to select their specialty for the program.
    • Students have a choice of 6 non-co-op and 4 co-op options. If they select and return the form within 5 business days of receiving it, their specialty will be reflected in their acceptance letter.
    • For example, a student interested in taking Business Marketing with co-op who submit the form on time will receive an acceptance letter stating they have been accepted into the Business Marketing co-op diploma program as opposed to just the Business diploma.

Application Guidelines

After submission of the online application students will receive Login details of their My Saskapolytech online portal in their Email ID within 2 weeks of making an application.

The student is required to check their online portal on daily basis for the update on their applications.

If all documents are properly submitted and student is eligible for the admission, they will receive a conditional offer letter in their online portal only.

One student received a conditional offer letter from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, they need to pay $8,500 seat confirmation fees within 60 days of the offer letter to confirm their seat in the program.

The college does not issue a revised offer letter after payment of $8,500, the one received earlier can be used for Visa filling.

Important Remarks
  • College accepts only online application and after online submission sends documents immediately by email, so not need to send Hard Copy of the Document.
  • Original Color Documents are required (Without notarized).
  • The student will receive mail regarding the Login Detail of Saskatchewan portal, in there, a student can check the online portal of application status.
  • They will receive an offer letter directly in my Saskatchewan portal.
  • Tuition fees must be paid before the deadline mention in the College offer letter. As per the SDS rule applicant must pay one-year tuition fees.
  • No unconditional offer will be an issue by the college after making payment.
  • To confirm the seat in the program student must have to submit $8,500 CAD by PeerTransfer within 60 days of the date LOA Received. If you fail to do so your seat will be revoked.
Important Note
  • Students entering an Engineering Technology Program in Moose Jaw should be prepared to get a driver’s license in order to increase their chances of being placed on a CO-OP work term.
