  • be under 50 years of age
  • hold an eligible visa 
  • held a student visa in the last 6 months
  • recent degree in a CRICOS-registered course
  • evidence of adequate health insurance for all applicants
  • proof of an AFP check
  • English language proficiency

Require Documents List for subclass 485 visa

  • Passport
    • It must be valid
    • Notarized copy of all the 36 pages
    • For the applicant and all family members
    • Copy of Old passport (If applicable)
  • National Id card
    • Aadhaar card as well as pan card
    • Proof for parents’ names
  • Passport-size photographs
    • 45 mm x 35 mm size
  • IELTS/PTE Test Result
    • A user id and Password of the test

  • Proof for family relationships
    • Marriage certificate
    • Divorce certificate or statutory declaration separation documents (if relevant)
    • If you are living in a de facto relationship:
      • independent evidence that you have been in the relationship for at least 12 months
        • joint bank account statements
        • billing accounts in joint names or
        • joint ownership of major assets
    • For adopted children:
        • certified copies of the adoption papers (If dependent and also mentioned in the application)
  • Medical Certificates 
  • Health insurance
  • Indian Police Record
      • Not older than12months

      • Within 12 months

Note: The AFP National Police Check Application Form is available from the Australian Federal  Police websites as below

  • online form or
  • paper form
    • Visa applicants should tick Code 33 in Section 8 of the form.
    • No need for fingerprints
  • Police certificates of other countries: (IF applicable)
    • The applicant and his family members have spent 12 months or more in any country.
      • In the past 10 years
      • after the age of 16 years
