For Admission Process

  • Transcript of a degree from the concerned University.
  • Degree from the university.
  • 10th & 12th mark sheet.
  • Bonafide certificate (whether the student is pursuing studies then to provide)
  • Aadhar card.    
  • Passport Picture sizes attached (2 sizes soft copy).

  • 2 LOR from 2 professors and an English Proficiency Certificate (medium of Instruction certificate)
    • On college Letterhead
    • Signed by a concerned person
    • In a sealed cover
  • Statement of Purpose to be made by the student.
    • In MS Word format

    • Present and previous jobs

For Scholarship Process

Note: All Sample documents will be sent to you for your convenience.

  • Income certificate of parents from anyone below.
    • Collectorate
    • Tehsildar
    • Panchayat
    • as per your State Authorities (No need for ITR)
  • Family income certificate from collectorate/Tehsildar/panchayat
  • Property Details
    • (Approved by Nagar Nigam)
  • Bank Balance certificate of student
    • (on Bank Letter Head)

For Visa Process

  • Application form fully completed and signed by Applicant
  •  Recent passport-size photograph (white background)
  • Passport
    •  Have been issued within the previous 10 years, and the validity must not exceed 10 yrs. 
    • At least have a validity of 3 months after the intended stay.
    • Have at least 2 blank pages.
  • Two set photocopies of the applicant’s Passport.
  • Declaration of Value of the applicant’s educational certificates
    • Duly legalized by the Consular office of this Embassy.
    • The local Institution or School should advise this Embassy directly in case it is not required.
  • Education Certificates duly Apostilled by Ministry of External Affairs.
  • Acceptance of enrolment by the Italian School or Institution, stating the duration of the course
  • Receipt of full payment of Tuition fees (if required)
  • Documentation regarding the applicant’s economic status

For University Courses or Postgraduate courses:

    • Proof of means of support in Italy of not less than Euro 448.52 for each month
    • (Euro 5382.24 per year) of the academic year. This availability can be proven through:
        •  Loan or Bank Statement of applicant or family 
  • Scholarship from the Italian Government:
    • Proof of scholarship in the original.
    • Where the amount of the scholarship does not satisfy the minimum established by law
    • the availability can be proven through the following documents from the Bank
      1.  Statement of applicant or family OR
      2.  loan
      3. guarantees

For Non-University courses:

      1. Adequate financial guarantees OR
      2. Bank guarantees
  • Adequate proof of Boarding and Lodging (If required).
  • A return flight ticket ( For courses up to 90 days) 

            Also One side air ticket for a Study visa.

  • Insurance Coverage
    • For Medical Treatment as well as  Hospitalization  
    • For visa requested more than 90 days
  • The applicant has to submit his/her original (not scanned) admission letter stapled with the passport.

IMPORTANT POINTS

  • To show original documents at the time of submission of application.
  • The Embassy reserves the right to ask for a Personal Interview or Additional Documents
  • The students whose admission is subject to a selection test at the University in Italy will need to apply for a Tourist Visa.
  • At the time of collection of the passport, the applicant has to make sure that the admission letter or the declaration letter by the university is duly stamped by the Embassy
