Post-Graduation Work Permit eligibility requirements ?
Students can complete up to 100% of their program online from outside Canada:
Students will be eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) even if students complete 100% of their studies online from outside Canada.

The time spent on studies overseas between Spring 2020 and December 31, 2021 will be added toward future PGWP length:
Students who wish to apply for a PGWP from outside of Canada can apply within 180 days of receiving their final marks.
*Important note:
- Entry to Canada with a PGWP approval may be subject to the travel restrictions
- Students with a PGWP approval may need a job offer to enter Canada
Students who commenced studies without full approval:
Students who applied for a study permit before they commenced their studies but were refused will need a final approval on their study permit application before the end of the program to gain their PGWP length.
