We wish to inform you about changes to their Master’s Degree program that a student may enroll in after completion of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Master of Hotel Management – NZQA Level 9 at PIHMS
Course Structure:
- Year 1 comprises 3 semesters (3 months each) of Academics and 1 semester (3 months) of Operations Training.
The student must successfully complete this with a B- in all subjects and a B grade in the Research module, as well as submit a Master’s Research Proposal of an acceptable standard to progress to Year 2.
- Year 2(which is of 6 months duration) involves 6 months of paid Industry Placement in New Zealand along with the Master’s Applied Research Project, which is a dissertation of about 20,000 words on a topic relevant to hospitality.
Eligibility:
- A minimum score of 65% in the Bachelor’s Degree program in Hospitality, Business or Management.
- Overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6 in each band, or overall PTE score of 58 with no less than 50 in each band.
